Ohayou minna san! Today will hopefully be a good day, although it started out badly for me. -_-;; I was supposed to work at 08:00 a.m., but I slept past my alarm and didn't wake up until ten till, so I called myself in for this morning. I told my boss what happened, and she said 'poor thing. It's been a bad week for you hasn't it?' She has NO idea... but it's nice to know I work with such cool people. *.* Anyway, today should be good for other reasons! It means tomorrow is FRIDAY! (And the angels sang.) It also means that today is the release date of the 2nd CCS movie!!! Of course, it does NOT mean I will get it soon, but it DOES mean that Studio Wabee will get it soon and start to fansub it! Then it will go out for distro, THEN I can get it!! *.* I am dying to get my hands on that movie. (You couldn't tell, could you?) It ALSO means that today is Laurel chan's birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR LARUEL CHAN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! I already gave her a present last night. I forced Mitsukake to jump out of the cake in his boxers. (He did it after I threatened to sic Miboshi on him.) A few people blew noise makers and threw confetti, but I spent most of the party grinding with a very drunk Tasuki. It was a blast, ne Laurel chan? ^_^;;; Oh, and thank you SO much for your input on the SKU songfic. I really appreciated it. I am thrilled that we got to chat last night. Ohayou minna san! Genki desuka? I just finished my first Japanese test of the year and I hope that I aced it. I am a little worried. :-P Anyway, I am currently in the Ballantine Hall MAC *cringe* lab checking e-mail, etc. S, I am exhausted too. I don't have Butterfly stuck in my head anymore. Now it's Drive by Incubus. I think my head is just one giant jukebox b/c I usually have at least 2 songs going through it simultaneously every hour of everyday. The other one right now is Bath Water, but this morning it was the theme to Mononoke Hime. How random is that?! Have any of you heard Crazytown's song Butterfly? (It's not the same one you sent me Laurel chan.) I was determined not to like it but my roomie *waves at Sub Sub* forced me to listen to it repeatedly, and it sort of grows on you. And anyway, everytime I listen to it I think of Ethan Hawke (right after Koyasu on my Sex God list) b/c I was looking at his pics on the net when she was playing the song a few days ago. Anyway, just thought I would ask. ^_^;; A friend of mine stopped by and we talked way too long. I was supposed to have already done my homework and been in bed by now b/c I am so worn out, and not feeling too well, but noooo... *sigh* Anyway, oyasumi nasai minna!
Laurel chan, I read your long blog entry (and the short one too ^_~) and I really am glad to hear about all the stuff that's going on with you. (I mean, I am not glad that you are having problems, but I am glad to hear about them. It came out wrong.) I am very proud that you want to get started on your masters! And I feel the very same way about relationships as you do, so I feel your pain (and frustration). I think I told you what happened to me on relationships recently, so trust me, I completely understand. As far as my new fic goes, it's short, and I can send you the song whenever you get online. I tried to upload it, but it didn't work. ;_; Don't worry, it's not a song that you are necessarily supposed to know. It's one of those popular album, but not radio released songs. Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a lovely Monday *gags*. I went into this work this morning and was promptly sent home b/c my boss said I look sick, and for pity's sake to take a long nap. So, I did. When I woke up, I was hungry so I went and got a very young banana and an very overcooked veggie burger for lunch, then came back and watched the Utena movie. (aka I felt like having my daily acid trip.) Anyway, that inspired me to do more fanart (!!) and I just finished that. It's not bad, but I think it needs to be colored or painted or something. Anyway, tonight my friend Juli *waves* is coming over to watch Utena. Wait, is there a theme here? Hmm... maybe my psychoticness from being couped up is actually from Utena sucking my brain dry of all intellectual thought. It's a very taxing show to watch, as those who know it will agree. Especially the movie ^_^;;. Anyway, I really do need to get homework done before Juli comes over, so jaa for now!
Laurel chan, if you read my blog tonight, I wanted to let you know that I wrote another song fic. It's Utena, to the song Bath Water by No Doubt. I really want you to read it, and get your very, very helpful criticism on it. although it does contain the f-word more than once. If you feel up to it, just e-mail me or something, and I will send it to you. And the song, if you haven't heard it. It just sort of fits Utena. I spent way too much money tonight when me and my roomie went shopping. >.< But I got fun stuff! Konnichiwa minna! Genki desuka? I am SO happy it's Friday. I just got off work. I saw American Beauty today... has everyone seen that? It was awesome. Other than the movie, my day was relatively boring. I went to Japanese, went to work, ran an errand for my boss, came home. My roomie and I are going shopping I think tonight. *pout* I did NOT get my CCS vol. 15 in the mail yet. I should have gotten it today, but hopefully I will get it tomorrow. Ohayou minna san! I made my first page theme the 2nd CCS movie b/c it gets released at the end of this month! (1/25- incidently Laurel chan's b-day) Unfortunately, I won't be able to buy it for ahwile... I just got a new job and I won't get paid for a long time. :-P Anyway, even if I do have to wait awhile, I am dying to see it. I have heard it's worth the wait. *.* Today was SO long. I don't know why either... it shouldn't have been. My first class was cancelled b/c my prof was out of town, and I didn't have to go into work in the afternoon b/c I did double time in the morning. We watched a very strange film from the Dada period in my history class today, called Entr'acte. And I got a 100% on my kanji quiz today. Yay! Tonight my roomie and I watched Mickey Blue Eyes. I wasn't impressed. Hugh Grant has done much better movies than that one. Anyway, I need to go to bed, as my roommate will be up at 5:00 a.m. (she's on the rowing team), and will most likely drag me out of bed too. Mata ne!
